Guest guest
Dear FORUM, The India CCM Secretariat announces the commencement of the election process for selecting Civil Society Representatives to the India CCM. Elections were to be held to fill 8 positions (2 each for HIV, TB and Malaria sectors, and 1 each for Gender and Child Development Sectors). At the present moment, only the HIV and Child Development sectors will have candidates for election. The TB, Malaria and Gender sectors received 2 or lesser qualified applicants for representing the sectors. Elections to fill these seats will therefore not be undertaken on the current ballot. These seats will be filled in by the qualified applicants, and any vacancies remaining will be filled up by re-opening the representation process in the near future. All registered constituency members have been informed of their membership, and are expected to cast their votes by logging into the India CCM website (www.indiaccm.org : <http://www.indiaccm.org/> ) before close of business on Friday the 24th of February, using their unique usernames and passwords (separately mailed to their registered email ids).
