Guest guest
Hi Kim! I am so glad that your visit with your new rheumatologist went well! It takes such a stress load off of us, when our doctors are knowledgeable and especially thorough! I hope the Avara helps you and that you are able to continue taking it! I found that if I skip taking something they give me for my stomach, certain medications really bother me! Sometimes, I forget, since the prevacid needs to be taken on an empty stomach. I am glad you are having some pain free days! I hope that you get to enjoy them!! just call me Sheba <queen_o_sheba@...> wrote: I saw my new rheumy today. It went very well and she was everything I " expect " a rheumy to be. Very thorough, checked stuff that the other 2 never even asked about. She explained everything, took her time, and seems very experienced/knowledgeable. I'm glad I switched. She agreed with the previous dr so I'll be starting Arava today. I have high hopes that I'll have fewer problems with it since I also requested something for my stomach. It so happens that the last 3 days have been my best days ever since diagnosis. Virtually no visual swelling and very little stiffness. And I'm not on dmards...go figure! This is such a finicky disease process. But I'm enjoying the mostly pain-free days right now while they last! Thank you all for your suggestions and support. As always, they are more than appreciated. May your days be calm!
