Principle responsibilities: Project Technical Work: Assist in project technical work: support to partners, preparation for trainings and workshops Research Work: Assist in creating research tools, instruments, databases, data management, conducting analysis. Assist in research analysis, conducting literature searches, compilation of materials for papers, presentation, proposals etc. Format, edit and revise papers, presentations, proposals, questionnaires, scope of work for consultants etc. Knowledge Management: Assist in knowledge management: conducting literature research, maintaining printed resource materials, sharing information on new publications and maintaining team files and database. Sharing information on new publications and maintaining the log of publications. Documentation: Documentation of project and team updates etc.. Administration: Assist in preparation for and coordination of meetings and events. Assist with management of work plans, taking and sharing meeting notes, coordinating project timelines. Draft routine correspondence and work with admin staff in maintaining mailing lists. Qualifications: PG/MPhil in the Social Sciences or equivalent. Knowledge of gender and development issues; Experience with quantitative and qualitative data analysis; Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills; Ability to work independently, organize, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines; Demonstrated maturity and resourcefulness Proficiency in MS-Windows, PowerPoint, Excel and Internet applications including online database applications (e.g., MEDLINE, POPLINE).
