went to the rheum doc.....questions and prednisone

i went, i really liked her. she took a good history, listened to me.

She checked EVERY joint for problems with range of motion, s/s of

inflamation, etc....half the doctors i have seen have never looked at

my feet yet other joints. She wants to get copies of the blood test my

reg doctor just did and then order me more test and xrays. she says i

do have an inflamatory arthritis but not sure which kind .... hence the

tests. She put me on 15 mgs of prednisone everyday for now and is going

to have my test done and have me back in 2 weeks.

does this seem standard?? she did more than most doctors combined

already... the prednisone...... is 15 too low of a dose to have

a " flare up " like this ??? when do u see/feel a difference with

prednisone ??? What else should i be concerned with on my next visit?

just seeing what the lab and xrays show?
