Take action now! Supplement's will become very expensive and new advances

will be limited if we allow this legislation to pass and the FDA to increase

their power over our purchasing power.

Your Action Matters - Dietary Legislation At Risk

November, 2011

Dear HealthCare Practitioners, Patients and Friends,

Time is running out. On December 2nd, the US Food and Drug

Administration will enforce a draft guidance for complying with the New

Dietary

Ingredient (NDI) notification protocols required by the Dietary Supplement

Health

and Education Act (DSHEA).

The biggest problem is that this guidance will turn a notification system

into an approval system.

It is very important to voice or re-voice your position again on this

matter by contacting your state senators and representatives. You may do so by

filling out and submitting the form on the following link. The personal

information you provide will direct your message to the representatives in

your state.

Many Senators and Congressmen already oppose this legislation, but they

need to hear your voice and position on this issue immediately.

Please take the time to voice your opinion, they view each e-mail as

representative of 1,000 others that did not take the time to respond. Please

forward this e-mail to your patients, staff, friends and family members.

When our voices are many, our message becomes louder and louder.

Please open the link below or copy and paste to your address bar:

The prevalence of Celiac Disease has increased five-fold overall since

1974. This increase was not due to increased sensitivity of testing, but

rather due to an increasing number of subjects that lost the immunological

tolerance to gluten in their adulthood.
