Guest guest
Before I reinvent the wheel and try to record diet instruction for a new HH client - Are there any diet instructions recorded on the car type cassettes? The same that the libraries have for the blind? I have a new client that has no sight. She needs instructions that she can play and learn for following a simple diabetic type diet. We discussed the CCHO bc she receives home delivered meals (the 7 frozen meals per week with 7 milks and 7 pieces of fresh fruit and sliced whole grain bread) and 5 fresh cooked hot Meals on Wheels lunches. She has to lose 50# so that she can have necessary surgery. She has lost about 9# on her own, but not necessarily with a good nutritional system. She's a quick learner and sharp, but a one time meeting and a few f.ups alone aren't enough. And I'm thinking that other clients I visit may also benefit from recorded instructions they can play back. I just don't want to nor do I have time to do this myself. Any resources you can suggest will be very welcome. Digna
