I don't mean to be adversarial but I can see why he'd ask. I got pregnant

just after I took my last dose of MTX. I miscarried my 9th week.

My doctor made me promise that i would not get pregnant stressed it a couple

times. It must be something they really worry about. And im 43 with five

kids. I told him if i got pregnant id be off to the first bridge.

I'm so sorry to hear that Abby! I thought I had read that some who got pregnant

while on Methotrexate had to stop it immediately. I can understand their

concern. Although it seems they would offer other medication choices instead of

forcing birth control. I'm hypercoagulative and had to stop taking the birth

control pills over 6 years ago. My OB/GYN and family doctors will not let me

take them due to my blood clotting.

I can understand that. There are other forms of birth control as you know.
