Guest guest
I don't mean to be adversarial but I can see why he'd ask. I got pregnant just after I took my last dose of MTX. I miscarried my 9th week. Abby In a message dated 5/5/2008 8:24:16 A.M. Pacific Daylight Time, diane_lilley@... writes: That said, this guy sounds a bit arrogant. BC pills are not adequate protection, if your definition of adequate is 100%. Nothing is, except abstinence. Maybe he has had a patient get pg on the MTX? That would make him extra skittish. **************Wondering what's for Dinner Tonight? Get new twists on family favorites at AOL Food. Guest guest
I'm so sorry to hear that Abby! I thought I had read that some who got pregnant while on Methotrexate had to stop it immediately. I can understand their concern. Although it seems they would offer other medication choices instead of forcing birth control. I'm hypercoagulative and had to stop taking the birth control pills over 6 years ago. My OB/GYN and family doctors will not let me take them due to my blood clotting.
