How exciting for you!! June is just around the corner!!! I'm always so excited

for everyone having babies! I admire you so very much for going through the

infertility treatments and having success! As well as having a career as a

psychologist! You are definitely one of my many heros on this board!

36 and have had RA since I was 28. I work full time and I have a son, age 4,

and this baby is due in June. (Yikes, June. Someone come over and make me

unpack my boxes!) Anyway, I'm a psychologist, so when I've feared having to

stop working, my husband will remind me that it's not like I'm a roofer, or have

to do something very physical. As long as I can make it out the door, I'm good

to go. My RA is unpredictable. It moves around and will target a particular

joint for a while, before mixing things up and going for something unexpected

like my jaws or pinkies. The fatigue is the toughest part for me, but it's

responded really well to my biologic. I also find swimming, especially when

flaring, makes a big difference.

Gosh, , thank you for your kind words. You guys are all my heroes too

b/c you know what it's like to try to carve out a life independent of the buzz

killer that is RA. I've had an enormously positive response to a biologic, and

I consider myself really lucky b/c I know many members don't have coverage for

drugs like Enbrel, or they haven't worked for them.

Cheers to everyone and hugs to all who have struggled to build families despite

illness and loss. I'll keep you all updated on my progress and my attempts to

get the nursery pulled together!
