Guest guest
I'm sorry you and got so tired and painful. Its very strange. I worked in the garden pulling dandelions for several hours. It seems to take a lot of will just to do it and then when I'm done I'm more exhausted than when I spent hours digging and pulling a huge bush out of the ground a couple of years ago. It doesn't seem to worsen my minor pain much but it was very light work. I've read that for about 23% of people with RA tiredness is their worse symptom. My physical therapist said he though I was working up to fibromyalgia but I just think I need to stretch and stay off the computer more. I'm done teaching two home school classes for which I did computer presentations so I will try to do more stretching. Its good to share with all of you. Its so easy to feel alone and sorry for myself. I used to be strong and so healthy but your stories show me that I'm not. ez --------------------------------- Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile. Try it now. Guest guest
Stretching exercises really are good! I have some that my physical therapist worked with me on for my FMS. What worked really well was hydrotherapy. Yet, currently, maybe because its summer, there are not any aquatic classes near me! They don't have anyone volunteering for them. The Arthritis Foundation told me maybe in the fall after everyone is done vacationing and taking a break. I'd love to just take a regular class but I can't keep up with their pace and the things they do. Elaine Zurofsky <mezuro@...> wrote: I'm sorry you and got so tired and painful. Its very strange. Guest guest
Thanks for responding to this subject EZ. I have been taking yoga classes for over 5 years and they help me be more limber. Also stretch after doing low impact things at my gym. Try to walk often, too. But today am very tired from all the things I did last evening so skipped my yoga class.
