Guest guest
I don't know about vitamin C, but my family's cure (at least for 4 generations) for canker sores is to pack the site with brown sugar and let it sit on the sour until it dissolves (trying not to let it dissolve to quickly.) I assume it's the osmotic effect that dries out the sore. It's not instantaneous, but it works every time. Guest guest
Recurring aphthous ulcers or canker sores can be a symptom of celiac disease. Prior to being diagnosed with celiac I used to get canker sores frequently. Sent from my iPhone > Hi again... > > Has it been shown that chewing Vit C tablet will help oral canker sores heal faster? Guest guest
Is it actually a cold sore or canker sore - cold sores can be caused by herpes simplex type 1(fever blister). Canker sores are usually inside the mouth while cold sores outside the mouth (contagious). > ** > > > I just heard this from a nurse I work with....her dentist told her to take > Vitamin C? > > > > > > > Hi again... > > > > Has it been shown that chewing Vit C tablet will help oral canker sores > heal faster? Guest guest
Someone mentioned the celiac disease correlation with canker sores. Food sensitivities also cause canker sores.
