Guest guest
Hi group, Well I survived getting those rotten hip shots....I obviously was in tons of pain because he had to touch them again before the shot and I just cried. Then to roll over on the one that was just done was excruciating. As I write this the Novocain is beginning to wear off and I'm starting to throb. He completed the application request for a temporary handicap placard. He also wrote me a good note for work and wants to do FMLA for me. However, my company has less than 50 employees, or we are just there so they technically don't have to honor it??? I have the form now and have faxed it over to him for completion so we'll see what happens. He did workmans comp for 4 years so he knows his way around all the paperwork etc. I am not ready for disability at this time. However, the mtx does not work alone for me, so we added the enbrel which just on my 3rd dose i've not seen any changes. I am hopeful though, always hopeful. He would like me to get away from computer use if possible for a job. Is that even possible these days? Thank you for your support in my drama day yesterday. I'm better today because I found support in friends I'd made at my local unemployment office and a job placement company. I also have a great medical support system. Thank goodness for this list as well!
