Guest guest
Welcome to this wonderful site! You made a nice choice, as there are so many great people here. So friendly, understanding, compassionate, and with lots of great info. for the diff. diseases we have. I am new here also. Yes, my RA came on me very suddenly. In 5 days, I went from a very functioning woman, to a pain ridden, swollen body, unable to get out of bed without help, diff. standing, walking, etc. I could not dress myself, feed myself, my hands curled into a fist, with crocked fingers, etc. The pain was just unbearable. I thought I had a brain tumor, and was dying. I was on crutches, went to my dr., and the rest is history. That was 5 1/2 years ago. I hope I ans. your question. Take care, and I hope you feel better soon. Hugs, Barbara [ ] This is new for me to be in a chat room Can someone tell me, did your systems start out of nowhere? ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile. Guest guest
Thank you so much, I thought I was losing it. I tried to tell my GP that there was something wrong with my swollen, numb hands, but he dismissed it, 3 days later I was in the ER, and that Dr said it was probably RA. As it runs in my family, Grandmother, mother and 3 out of 5 sisters having it. It was 1 more thing to add to my " plate " . I just had a hysterectomy in March, now this. Thanks again, Barbara Creedon <bcreedon@...> wrote: Welcome to this wonderful site! You made a nice choice, as there are so many great people here.
