essential data about Dietitians and Nutritionists

This was interesting given recent conversations regarding Citizens' for

Health attacks on ADA.

ASN has been asked by the U.S. Department of Labor to assist in identifying

*Dietitians and Nutritionists *who may be asked to complete brief,

objective questionnaires about the tasks, work context, and knowledge

requirements of their occupation. RTI International, under contract with

the Department of Labor, is asking for help to populate the O*NET database

with essential data about Dietitians and Nutritionists that is valid,

reliable, and current. We want to match qualified ASN members with RTI to

assist in this project.

programs to assist in the promotion of health and control of disease.  May

supervise activities of a department providing quantity food services, counsel

individuals, or conduct nutritional research.

 

I would like to expand this definition; they make it sound like we are all

working in the institutional setting or university.
