Guest guest
Has anyone tried homeopathic remedies? I am just so scared of some of the severe side effects of the medications that are being used. HUGZ, PeggyH
Guest guest
I've not tried any. My doctors have specified that since they are not FDA approved they could very well interact with my prescribed medications. I've found that I even have to be careful drinking herbal tea. I drank some of the sleepytime and it interacted somewhat with my sleeping medication. peggyhcrafts <peggyhcrafts@...> wrote: Has anyone tried homeopathic remedies? Guest guest
If you try homeopathic remedies, it should be in addition to a DMARD, if you're talking about RA. I'm more afraid of the side effects that the disease can cause, such as joint deformities and pain. Guest guest
DMARD side effects are near as bad as Enbrel and lymphomia. Hugz PeggyH > > > Has anyone tried homeopathic remedies? Guest guest
I'm not sure what you mean. Enbrel is one of the DMARD's. I have been on it for five years, and have had no bad side effects. It is working very well at controlling my pain and inflammation. I am very thankful that it does. Unfortunately, it doesn't work as well for everybody, since we are all so different. Guest guest
Very true. When taking my medications and because I have an anxiety disorder, I just try to remind myself that not everyone will get lymphoma or suffer side effects from medication. My doctors all remind me that even healthy people that do not take medications will suffer from debilitating illnesses as they age and the body begins to wear and tear. It's the only way I can make myself take medications most of the time. I just really focus on what is helping me today, instead of any what ifs that might happen down the road. peggyhcrafts <peggyhcrafts@...> wrote: DMARD side effects are near as bad as Enbrel and lymphomia. Guest guest
, Up until about a year ago I was alright with taking Enbrel and it works but then my xrays showed a millimeter increase in my lymphnode (lungs) so rhemy sends me off to an oncologist who couldn't find anything so he sends me to a pulmonary specialist, who couldn't find anything but they track you for 2 years any way so I have another year of finding nothing. Then my rhemy tells me he won't treat me with Enbrel unless I go keep going back to the oncologist and he doesn't care what the pulmonary guy says it's only the oncologist he wants to deal with. On top of the worry it's giving me, the out of pocket costs were extremely high (7K) and I just can't afford to go through another year like that...with the worry and cost and all those added dr visits. I sometimes was doing 2 and 3 visits per month and/or every 2 months. Makes me feel that I'm only alive to go to dr's and take meds. Then the bone density in my mouth dropped 50% and I'm about to lose a front tooth which means major surgery and bone graphs...so while that goes on I can't take the meds any way because I'll be on antibiotics which I'm told you can't do RA meds and antibiotics together. Hence my frustration and depression. HUGZ PeggyH > > Very true. Guest guest
Hi, I've just completed my first round on homeopathic HCG & lost 27lbs. I wasn't hungry on it at all. I have lost lots of inches (nearly 20) and the reshaping certainly seemed to happen for me. I haven't put an weight back on -in fact am having to eat far more to maintain the body weight I have at present which has felt weird after all the years of dieting! I can really recommend them. However I do know that you need to be careful where you buy your drops from. Am getting ready to do round 2 -hope whoever wrote that round 2 is the hardest is wrong! Ange x -- Re: Homeopathic I used real hcg (injections) for my first round, and tried the homeopathic for a second round. It didn't work for me, I was so hungry on it that I couldn't help but cheat. I only lost 10 pounds on it and regained it right away. I don't count that round ;-) went back to the injections and lost another 18. I know people who say they were successful with the homeopathic, but I wouldn't try it again. I did a 3rd round with real hcg but sublingual instead of the injections. I prefer the injections. I wonder if those of you that had them work for you, feel like you got the benefit of reshapping. I am more concerned with loosing fat not muscle, than I am with hunger.>
