Okay, I'm confused. Something is clearly not accurate here.

If she has a sorbitol intolerance and stops consuming sorbitol, her

diarrhea would stop. Something else is going on, or else she has a diet candy

addiction or something and refuses to stop consuming sorbitol!

But, if she's VERY intolerant, is she avoiding ALL sources, including

possibly meds, toothpaste and mouthwash that may contain?

An associate of mine reports that a relative has been diagnosed with

sorbitol intolerance. She continues to have diarrhea and is losing weight. Does

anyone have experience with this intolerance? Thanks in advance.

Bryn
