Cece,

Thanks for bringing this up! I never heard of it, so I looked through the

website and it looks like a type of MLM. You can buy the product as a customer,

but there is a continuous push for you to become a distributor. You get others

to join your team and form your own line of followers, which will bring you

residual income. Or, if you buy the product as a customer, and you get three

other people to buy a kit, you get a free one. You can keep doing this to get

free product. There is a lot of excitement because that's how the company is

set up, and how all MLM companies are set up. If you watch their videos it is

all about getting people psyched, but there is always the hard push to get

persons to become distributors.

I couldn't find any nutrition information either because it makes it impossible

to look at the product!!! When you click on " view products now " , this is what

you see -

https://myvi.net/learn_more/index.html

This is why the people in your hospital are so excited! They've seen the videos

of hundreds of couples talking about their weight loss, and what a great money

making opportunity this is. The videos are designed to get you caught up in the

possibility of becoming a millionaire. This is pretty much how all MLM's are

run - their videos, large motivational conferences and small monthly meetings

looked the same as the one I belonged to - just a different product.

I noticed the same thing, my cousin keeps pushing people to come to her house to

" feel better and lose wt "   to try the " 90 day challenge " on facebook.  She

gained 150 pounds when she was pregnant.  She would never answer my ?'s when I

asked her nutrition questions about the product just said the shake is

delicious.

This is exactly the stuff a nurse here is pushing. The thing that really

concerns me is she posted of Facebook that she was going to sell this stuff,

that her cousin lost a lot of weight on it. People started asking her questions

about the product and she replied, " I don't know anything about it yet. I'll

let you know more when I find out. " . I can't believe a health care professional

would consider selling a product before researching it throughly. I am also

concerned that you can't access information on what it contains for ingredients

and basic nutrition facts. In reality it is most likely a protein sparing

modified fast or a product similar to Slimfast....although with Slimfast they

tell you to eat a sensible meal. With Visalus, from what I can gather, it tells

you, you can eat whatever you want for that third meal of the day, even

desserts.....
