Guest guest
I have psoriasis as well. It is starting to go away with the methotrexate. Can i ask what else you use for the psoriasis. My rheumy loves this med as its been around for a long time and is usually well tolerated. Unfortunately, about 30% of patients who take it who have psoriasis find that the psoriasis worsens. By the time I figured out what was causing mine to worsen I was itching all over despite multiple anti-itching meds. It was quite funny, really. My rheumy felt bad but I still think it was worth a try as I might have been one of the lucky 70%. Hope it works well for you. ez --------------------------------- Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile. Try it now. Guest guest
I was just diagnosed at my last rheumatology visit with Vit D deficiency. I am taking 50,000 units weekly. I will see her next week and we will see how my level is. Before starting treatment it was 17 and the normal range for the lab is 40-100. Guest guest
Low vitamin D levels have been shown in those that suffer chronic pain diseases. My doctor put me on a supplement quite some time ago, but next time I go I am going to make sure they have been keeping an eye on my levels. ambermich@... wrote: thanks for the info, I did look the drug up, I did not realize it was the one I heard about a lot.
