Guest guest
I have viral polyarthritis, which affects my knees. I am mobile, for short distances, and if I don't stand for more than a minute. Currently, I wear flat s clogs. Very comfortable, and they don't strain my knees. Problem is, I am a pediatric nurse practitioner - I need to have fashionable shoes! Can't wear any type of pointed heel, and the shoe has to have good support for flat feet. Since my diagnosis, and some imrpovement with medications, I've focused on adding some skirts and cute things to my wardrobe - also to disguise the poor muscle condition and looser flesh of a low physical activity lifestyle. This may seem a trivial thing, when we look at how many of us are dealing with hourly struggles with pain or immobility, but a good source for 'girly' things can help the spirits of some of us!
