Guest guest
As a writer for more than 15 years, DO NOT ever ever write original work for this kind of money. That is a slap in the face ...especially as a RD. Most magazines pay more than 1.00/ word. The standard rate for internet/web articles is low about 75-150.00 per article. However, most places let you repurpose content so it kind of makes up for it. The internet and information age has really ruined journalism as a career but RDs are always doing stuff for free or less than what they are worth which brings down the whole profession. If someone is not going to pay you, keep the writing for yourself. I always put my best work on my OWN blog, not someone else's. My two cents On Tue, Oct 18, 2011 at 7:43 AM, Carol S. I run a blog/website about these topics and I need 1 500-800 word article per week, per writer (maybe more if you want). I'll give you a day of the week, you will make your post via WordPress (I'll give you a username+password to use) on that day every week and I'll pay you based on word count. Pay is $.015 per word, that's 7.50 for 500 words. I will pay every 100 words, so a 656 word article would be paid for 600, which comes out to 9 dollars.
