Guest guest
http://www.medicinenet.com/taste_disorders/page2.htm - mentions a couple medication causes but no specifics - insecticides, antibiotics and antihistamines (aka suppressing the immune system) think of it possibly as gastroparesis that isn't as bad - malnourishment that isn't as advanced - pregnancy takes a lot of resources (need chocolate - and egg yolks) pregnant with a tongue problem translates in my mind into extra need for magnesium and super B complex, zinc frequently can be issue in odd things in addition to the prenatal - or beans, nuts, and seeds - including fenugreek - good pregnant too (glossitis - B6) http://www.scribd.com/doc/47085357/Nutrition48 goes into detail on the B's I'll say it even if waste of time but please no extra D supplements the placenta does that all on its own. some WIC clients just didn't do well on any prenatals - whatever type tried - so worked on food choices and empowered them to choose for themselves about a supplement being mandatory or not.
