So is the increased chance of lymphoma related to RA or to the

medications taken to ease the RA? I've been taking Enbrel like every

other month for nearly two years. I am supposed to take MTX every week

but hated how it made me feel so have only really been taking it for

maybe 1 year. I was diagnosed 2 years ago with RA. In that short amount

of time it really is conceivable to have developed lymphoma? Anyone

have any info? Thanks for your time, Maile

Maile,

RA patients are at an increased risk for lymphoma. Whether medications add

to the risk is unclear.

Although I hope it's not the case, it is possible for you to have developed

lymphoma already.

For more information, please see the editorial I posted yesterday:

I also posted some other articles on the topic at about that time.
