Should I get a new Doctor?

I was diagnosed w/ RA in the summer. They put me on Azulfadine for

the pain and said that I wouldn't need anything else until that med

didn't work anymore. I had to stop taking it because of yeast

infections. So I pushed on my doctor and told her I felt like my

disease was getting worse. I'm 31 and can't open jars, cut foods

with a knife, open doors, and pick up my son. Sometimes i can't even

button my bra. My shoulder is so bad I can't sleep on it and I have

to sneak in my stash of Loratab to deal with the pain. I've been on

Enbrel for 6 weeks and take Arthrotec for pain as needed. I have

gone in several times to get a cortizon shot in my shoulder only to

be told that i need an " overall shot " of steriods. I had my last one

on Nov. 29 and I'm still in soo much pain that I have to drink wine

to make it go away. No, I'm not an alchohlic, but i have a glass or

two everynight to deal with the pain instead of medicating.

anyways, i called today and the nurse from hell, said " i just gave

you a shot a month ago. " i explained to her that I'm in a ton of

pain and she said she'd have to talk to the doctor and then call me

back.

I feel like i have to beg for someone to listen to me and help me

STOP this disease from spreading and relieve me of the pain.

Please ladies.....I need some advice!
