Yes I am seeing an RA and I really like her. I am asking about DMARDS when I go

back which is Monday. 6 weeks ago at my last visit she reviewed my xray and

showed me where I had calcium deposits in my arota. She has run some new blood

tests on me as well as an ultrasound checking for heart disease and I will be

finding out the results on monday. I am thinking this is the reason she is

waiting.

Question....does anyone out there have heart disease as well ?? My grandmother

passed at 62 from heart disease and had RA and my Mother passed at 62 from heart

disease and now that I look back possibly had RA as well...I am 42 and will find

out Monday, wish me luck...

Heart disease runs in my family but those members did not have RA. I have

arrythmia, palpitations, MPV, and an enlarged ventricle. But my rheumatologist

started me on DMARDS right away, once I responded to the prednisone.
