Guest guest
Hi guys -- Local bookworm here ... to get very technical, here's the difference between the terms metroplasty and septoplasty... Metroplasty: surgery on or within the uterus (can refer to ANY surgery involving the uterus) Septoplasty: surgery involving a septum, any septum (can refer to vaginal, cervical, uterine OR the septum in your nose ... can you tell I work with ear, nose & throat MDs?) So as far as our group is concerned, they are sometimes interchangable but don't be surprised if your a primary care doc gets confused, b/c nasal septoplasties are WAY more common than ours :-) Can you tell I've got some projects I'm trying to avoid? 27, UD
