Guest guest
I was thinking about that a couple of days ago. I used to say I don’t allow myself to be offended, but realized that sometimes it is wrong not to be offended by something. For instance, I am offended when someone uses filthy language in front of my wife and kids. Just an example of a rare time to be offended, but “not easily offended†at something I simply disagree with or do not enjoy seeing or hearing. I am only offended when I choose to be for only good reasons, hopefully. I am not offended by people who disagree with me or do not think the way I do. You’re right about not giving up that power. I hope you can get the folders set up. In Outlook it can kind of be like a treasure hunt to get those set up correctly! W. I love the idea of the folders - going to do this myself. Your statement " I rarely choose to be offended " is my philosophy as well - it makes debate invigorating rather than highly emotional. What's the point of getting offended? I never let anyone have that much power over me anyway. Jacquelyn A.
