Guest guest
Anyone delaing with semantic aphasia and RA? It is not an everyday thing-more like a weekly occurance...but I will see and object and label it incorrectly i.e. see a pillow and call it a sheet - See my cell and call it a purse. I know what the object is and I know that Ive labled it wrong. Somewhat oddly I find myself a bit giddy when this happens...I laugh right outloud (I do have a wacky sense of humor, but this is a bit different even for me!!) I am fishing to see if there is a RA link or if I am dealing with 2 dx. Meds: Aleve daily for my RA - have been in a remissive state for years...just started a small flare about three weeks ago...aphaisa did become more noticable about that time... Any known weird neuro side effects with Aleve???? I do have a long history of migraines - take zomig as needed... No other physical symptoms: No depression:
Guest guest
Prednisone can cause more problems with coming up with the right word. I have always had trouble with this but its worse when I'm tired. And, I am more tired since I've had RA so I have this problem regularly. I do some substitution but more often just long pauses. ez
Guest guest
Hi I've had RA for a few years now and I keep mislabelling objects - I think it's got worse since changing medication a few months ago.
