Dodge update from Rod

Hi all friends of Dodge in Land,

I promised Dodge I'd write you all to let y'all know how he is doing. He is

home right now. His procedure went well with minimal bleeding. He has a home

care physician coming every day three times a day and three shifts of nurses

here to make sure he is comfortable and not in pain and gets all his meds.

Unfortunately, I have to go back to work. This is killing Dodge because he

wants to be with me on the rig and not at home in bed. So keep him at home and

feed him some virtual chicken soup till he's strong enough to go to work again.

The only bad news is we had one good day of our email working like it should

nice and fast, we have 16 meg cable, but now it's slow again and the pages are

changing once every ten minutes. They called it a " latency " issue, whatever

that is, and have filed two tech support tickets on this last week. I just got

off the phone with them today and they were less-than-helpful and said that the

problem must be on our end which we know it isn't. I hate out-sourced tech

support people!!!

\So, Dodge got his new skin and he's half-awake and will try to read some of the

emails. He is very nauseous, but not in a lot of pain. He was under general

anesthesia, so he wasn't feeling anything during the procedure.

Btw, we did get the a/c fixed.

Dodge says love to all his friends...

Thank you for letting us know how he's doing. I just joined this

group but found myself thinking about him today because of his

previous message about the skin graph. It seems like he has such an

incredible spirit but I think a lot of that has to do with you and

the support you give him. Let him know he's in my prayers.

Hi Rod,

Glad you posted, I was thinking about Dodge today, knowing he was

going through a tough time. I know he feels lousy, but he is in good

hands, I'm so glad he has you. It sounds like you have everything

taken care of to get him on the mend. I am sorry to hear you go back

to work, when he needs you. I hope he feels a bit better tomorrow.

Please, let him know he is in my positive thoughts and prayers, Tawny

Doooodge! You need your rest, let someone else take care of the world

for awhile. You want to make very sure that there are no problems

with that skin graft. Sounds like you need a momma to scold you! :)
