Hi!  Can you still bill for MNT if the pt can't or won't come back

for follow-up?  And what if the order only say, " Nutrition Consult " .  I know the

definition of MNT includes a thorough assessment, nutrition diagnosis, nutrition

prescription, intervention and follow-up. But what if you have a pt who only

wants to come for one visit?  Can you charge for MNT if you do everything else

but the follow-up or do you have to bill it as  " nutrition Education " (CPT code

98960).  Thanks in advance!!
