Guest guest
HI .... I've been on arava about 1 1/2 to 2 yrs now. Time flies when you're having fun...lol I used to take 20 mg....now I am cutting it down to 10 mg with the ok from my rheumy. The reason being was because of some stomach upset. Another thing I noticed about my meds is some hair thinning. My hair is baby fine anyway and any hair thinning is a problem for me. I asked the rheumy about it and he says it could be the enbrel, arava or my post menopausal self. It's not too bad but I do notice more on my brush then I used to. I am hoping since I increased my estrogen it will help some.... The arava has worked pretty well for me along with the enbrel and the 5 mg prednisone. Though I would like to get off the pred...Dr V tells me that I am on such a low dose.... Are you on any pain meds? Hope this helps some. Hugs..a > > a, I see you are on Arava-don't see it mentioned very often. My meds are enbrel, and decadron (similar to prednisone) and now he wants me to start Arava 20 mgs as I elected to stop Mtx several months back because of the extreme fatigue it was causing. Shortly after that was when I started the decadron. i'm continuing to have increased stiffness and nodules developing everywhere so the addition of arava. How long have you been on this regime? Any problems? I'm a little leary of starting a drug that stays in you system as long as the arava but if it helps that can be a good thing . Input from anyone would be appreciated. linda > > rascalsniche@... wrote: Hi Tammy...this is a. > > I am on enbrel and taking prednisone 5 mg and arava 10 mg.
