Guest guest
ne, there is quite a bit of research on bi-polar and omega-3s.... http://www.omega-research.com/searchlist.php?keyword=bipolar & howsearch=site & imag\ eField.x=0 & imageField.y=0 Dr. Fasano has done some clinical trials taking schizophrenia patients off all meds and putting them on a gluten-free diet and has seen improvement and/or resolution of the sx in a significant portion of the patients. They know that gluten can have neurological effects. Dr. Fasano presented at FNCE last year and you can purchase the continuing ed webinar on Celiac, Intestinal Permeability, Autism and Schizophrenia from ADA for $19. Most of the info is from Dr. Fasano. She has discontinued prescribed medications (does not state the names) due to severe side effects, and wants to know if there are any alternative treatments available. She and her husband are on welfare, SNAP, and seeking disability, however, she receives some financial help from her parents. I have no experience in this area, and would appreciate any guidance -- counseling? Herbs, St s Wort? Thanks for any help, ne ------------------------------------
