Guest guest
Daughter saw a new regular medical rheumy today. He's a member of several RA doctor's groups and a fellow in one research group. She now has no inflammation at all in her hands. He encouraged her to continue with the naturapathic treatment with the naturapath and will check her again in a month. If things remain okay she will be weaned off the placquinil and then the celebrex. Who could have imagined all this happening, especially so quickly? I know most doctors and most people do not believe that naturapathic medicine can help. We are still in total awe of this. Best wishes and helpful treatments to all of you. Guest guest
Hi, I'm very ineresed in the naturapathic treatment your daughter is getting. I would do anything, if I was sure, to get off my meds (mtx, Plaquanil, Sulfasalazine, - (I stopped Celebrex bcs it gave me stomach bleeds). Could you please share that with us? Thank you, Stella > > > > Hi All, > > > > Haven't been to the group site for a while. My daughter was > > diagnosed with RA (she's 40) about a year ago. Guest guest
Willow, It's also possible that your daughter's diagnosis of RA was incorrect. Guest guest
I am also interested. I just found a homeopathic center here in my local area. As soon as I can afford it I will be seeing her. I am tired of docs as so far we have not made any progress but to make me worst and not better. I seem to do better without meds than on meds...odd! I have heard so many good things about the center in my area. I am hoping they are able to help me. Please share of more details of what her treatment is like? Guest guest
That does sound interesting. I would not be able to do it though as I take several medications for other diseases/health issues besides RA. My physicians will not under any circumstances allow me to mix prescribed medications with herbal/natural meds smf1mom <smf1mom@...> wrote: Hi, I'm very ineresed in the naturapathic treatment your daughter is getting. Guest guest
Hi :I hope you are feeling better and having less pain. How is your URI doing?I & nbsp; hope this is the last one, as you have been through so much having them back to back.It is no fun being sick in bed for so long. How is your R A doing? With all this crazy weather our bodies can't take much more! I had to take 2 pain meds every 4 hours yesterday, and last night. My feet and ankles hurt so bad I wanted to chop them off. I am off them today, hoping they settle down as I can hardly stand on them. It really stinks that we have days like this, even weeks. Are you able to be out of bed now? I sure hope so. It is good you like to read, me too. When do you see your Rheumy next? I go in 2 weeks. I will get the results of the MRI's of my feet and ankles. I have wanted to go to 's for some craft supplies, but my feet are too bad to do so now.A great life if we don't weaken. Hard to fight the tides sometimes. I pray you will be all better soon, and able to do more things. I am sending you some hugs, and prayers that God will make you feel better soon.Barbara Hi, I'm very ineresed in the naturapathic treatment your daughter is getting. She is on & gt; & gt; supplements for inflammation and sleeping and has had two allergy & gt; & gt; treatments at the Naturapath's office. & gt;
Guest guest
I will have to find out what supplements she is taking. There are multiples I know and they mostly have long names. :-)) It's true that my daughter does not have any other medical problems so mixing meds isn't an issue. She is continuing to find her " trigger " foods. MSG is a biggie. Aspartame is one, too much sugar or refined flour also. Doesn't do ice cream or cake well and knows within several hours after eating if she's eaten a wrong food. She is adding more food back all the time since she's not a very patient person and likes what she likes! Luckily she's thin so there's no weight-gaining issues. She's having a big problem doing without soda pop. She's thinking of trying the ones with Splenda since it doesn't seem to bother her. But, she no longer feels " toxic " and is tickled to be off some of the bad meds. She has another appt on next Tuesday with the Naturapath and another allergy treatment which seems to consist of stimulating certain points that release toxins. I will know more about it shortly as I am going to see the doctor also to see if she can help me feel better. Updates in the near future. Best of luck to all. And if you're not happy with your current regimen, can't hurt to try a new one. You can always go back if it doesn't work. willow > > > > > > Hi All, > > > > > > Haven't been to the group site for a while. My daughter was > > > diagnosed with RA (she's 40) about a year ago.
