Hi,

It's great to make a list of questions! My rheumy loves it, takes the list

from me and addresses each concern. My experience with my primary care

physician is that he'll tell me to address it with my rheumy, so I just skip

the

pcp and go directly to the rheumy for my answer. I would think maybe you would

get hand and feet x-rays, and the rash would be a concern as well. Good

luck tomorrow! Please let us know how your appointment went!

trip will take longer! I have to leave before 6AM to make it there by my 9AM

appointment. I'm currently typing up a list of concerns for the doctor, since

I have been in bed more the past 6 to 8 weeks than I have been out of it. I've

noticed a change that a toe that was once straight is now crooked and one of

my fingers this is happening as well. Is it common or normal to address this

with her or an issue for my family doctor? I thank you all so much for your

help! I'm hoping when she sees me tomorrow she won't think I have gone and

lost my mind! I've been so stiff lately, it's as if a concrete mixer dumped

concrete inside my body. I've had a weird thing with my skin lately as well. My

nose and cheeks turned bright red (almost like it did wh

indoors, reading a book. Yet I have noticed my skin does this occasionally

lately. I always hate asking questions because most of the time they can't

tell me why something is happening! Hope you are all doing fine and feeling a

little less pain today!

being in bed & in pain not being able to walk for that long. i know what its

like & it sux!! my face always gets red like if i have blush on & i tell

everyone no thats just how they are. i told my rheummy & she said not to worry,

so i just make sure that it does not get worse or notice any major change.. as

for your toe & finger i personally would discuss it with my rheummy. it sounds

as if you could be having a flare up. i have had ra for so long i know when my

sorry, don't have an answer for that one...my upper arms and legs don't

have a rash, however, the skin is not smooth. Like when you get

chilled, goosebumps. But it never goes away. I've tried all kinds of

creams and lotions, and even a sugar scrub product, but it doesn't go

away. I showed my rheumy, but she just looked at it, and didn't

comment. ?old age? gentle hugs! Marcia
