I'm making the 7 hour roundtrip to U of Michigan tomorrow to visit the

rheumatologist..hopefully there isn't too much construction or the trip will

take longer! I have to leave before 6AM to make it there by my 9AM appointment.

I'm currently typing up a list of concerns for the doctor, since I have been in

bed more the past 6 to 8 weeks than I have been out of it. I've noticed a

change that a toe that was once straight is now crooked and one of my fingers

this is happening as well. Is it common or normal to address this with her or

an issue for my family doctor? I thank you all so much for your help! I'm hoping

when she sees me tomorrow she won't think I have gone and lost my mind! I've

been so stiff lately, it's as if a concrete mixer dumped concrete inside my

body. I've had a weird thing with my skin lately as well. My nose and cheeks

turned bright red (almost like it did when I used to be outside exposed to the

sun briefly) in the butterfly rash. I was simply

indoors, reading a book. Yet I have noticed my skin does this occasionally

lately. I always hate asking questions because most of the time they can't tell

me why something is happening! Hope you are all doing fine and feeling a little

less pain today!
