Guest guest
Hi That's great, thanks! It has sparked some curiousity. My rheumy had recommended I take robitussin non-drowsy main ingredient (guaffinessin) one hour BEFORE I begin to take my MTX. I mentioned to him that I get " the fuzzies " from it. He immediately thought of Chemo side effects and that's how this came to be, as mtx is such a strong drug, the robistussion offsets or can absorb or coat the stomach, etc...as you can see, I'm still a little confused about this myself. I have been doing it for 2 weeks now and for what it's worth has made me feel a little better. I am not happy to be up at the moment, my right hip had the nerve to wake me up. I'll have to have a chat with it as we are driving to upstate NY this afternoon and it must behave! grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. May as well stay up now as our new washing machine comes today as well. Have a happy and safe weekend everyone, yay fall!!! I really mean that! I love fall! " GS " Heidi in Mass A.M. Just googled 'robitussin antiemetic' and came up with a medscape article, where it can be used as a helpful adjunct for chemo induced sickness. may be able to give the link. I am no good at that sorry. You can subscribe (free) to Medscape. Best wishes, Chris UK **************It's only a deal if it's where you want to go. Find your travel deal here. Guest guest
Heidi, I am so glad that this topic came up. I will check with my rheummy when I get to resume.....no RA meds at this time, yuck! Enjoy that new washer. I hated having to replace both washer and dryer in June, my gosh! but what a wondrful job they do. I am ordering your hand to behave also. I hope it listens, seems no one here does. LOL Have a safe trip and enjoy the beauty of upstate NY. Shirley > > Hi > > That's great, thanks! It has sparked some curiousity.
