free end.

Guys I have had a rough week and I am exhausted and very thankful it is a 3

day weekend. I will try my best to catch up over the weekend. Hope

everyone is doing as well as can be. I had a bit of good news today, my

little hospice lady woke up this AM and said she was hungry and actually

managed to eat 3 meals today. I suspect it is the rally before the end but

it was good for all our spirits to be able to feed her and have it go down

safely.

Sorry about your rough week.

How wonderful that your lady could eat. God, love her and please let

her be comfortable her last days. I have been guilty of taking so many

things for granted.

I truly hope you have a better weekend.

Well maybe if work will stop calling me. I had to go in for 4 hours today

to fix something someone did not do!

That is what I am hoping. She is not in any pain at least. That is rare at

the end. We have oral pain meds in case.

Yesterday was better she is back to unconscious now. Oh well, at least we

felt better that she ate and drank yesterday. It is real hard on my staff

when they do not eat. Hospice is a wonderful thing. We have the support we

need to keep her here rather than having to move her.

Yes we all take things for granted. I know I do too.
