Guest guest
Hi - this article was very interesting. In particular the paragraph at the end which states: " The hippocampus was dysfunctional in patients with fibromyalgia, as shown by lower NAA levels..., representing neuronal or axonal metabolic dysfunction, " the investigators conclude. " As the hippocampus plays crucial roles in maintenance of cognitive functions, sleep regulation, and pain perception, we suggest that metabolic dysfunction of hippocampus may be implicated in the appearance of these symptoms associated with this puzzling syndrome. " Seems to me this is a HUGE step forward in understanding and possibly coming up with better treatments for FMS ............Doreen

Guest guest
These researchers may be on the right track. I do hope they figure fibromyalgia out soon, Doreen.
