Tips on playing with children when we are in pain

I just read this in my most recent FMS newsletter and wanted to share with all

of you. I thought some of the tips might help those with FMS or RA. I know we

all struggle with pain and attempting to play with children whether. I found it

quite helpful for the times when I am playing with my nephew. He's 10 months

old now!! I just have to try to figure out a way to pick him up, I'm not

supposed to lift over 5lbs, 10lbs at the max and he's past that

hi stephanie, yes it is hard to play with those we love when we are in pain..

for me though playing with my daughter or my nieces & nephews when im in pain

helps because then i dont think about it as much as i would laying around &

doing nothing. but let me tell you i do suffer the next day! its worth it though

because i dont know maybe one day i might not be able to get out of bed,then

what.. my love ones know that i cant pick them up but we have figured a way for

them to climb up on me & it works just as well. where theres a will theres a
