hi debbie in response to the neck surgery. no its not the money, THANK GOODNESS

i have medicade!! its that i can not know for certain that it will work, nor do

i know what will happen in the long run.. the fact is due to my severe ra &

osteo i believe that it might make me worse than i already am debbie. i hope &

pray that i will not get worse but i fear that this might not be the right road

for me to take.. therefore, i will leave it in gods hands!!!! im HAPPY that it

HI Melynda,

Why is neck surgery out of the question for you? Too costly maybe? In

1992 I had my cervical spine fused and only stayed in the hospital 3

nights. Had a very good neurosurgeon, too. It took care of all that bad

bad going down my arms. Still is creaky though when I turn my neck..

hi shandi, i have ra in my neck & its severe where its fused.i also

have some

popping going on but not much. they asked me about neck surgery, i said

out of

the question!!!! i just try to deal with the pain but sometimes it

hurts sooo

bad i just want to give up. i cant though because i have a family to

think

about.... i take so many meds & one is called neurotin & thats for the

nerves...

Hi Melynda,

That makes sense why you don't want spinal surgery. Most likely your

Medicaid wouldn't cover much anyway. Also since you have severe RA

and OA that wouldn't be good either. I do have OA in my neck now.
