Guest guest
I need to ask this question but i am afriad ill sound stupid. but here goes--does RA show in mris? Right now i am extremely frustrated and in pain and now have no answers. Monday i recived my mri results and was told that there is nothing wrong with my shoulder. The doctor wants me to go to physical threaphy 3 times a week (at a cost $20 each visit) for three weeks. My husband and i are on a extremely tight budget as he is the only one that works- we cant afford this. But i dont know how to deal with the pain . Please understand, I am not a hypocondriac-- Since 2005, I have had arthritis (degerative) in my left leg since a workplace injury progressed- and now i get the same exact pain and pressure that i have had in my leg in my shoulder. I know theres something going on. I dont understand why the doctor gave me the prescription that he did- I read the drug information and it is used to treat arthritis and RA. I am feeling sooooo lost right now. thanks for listening CC _________________________________________________________________ Keep your kids safer online with Windows Live Family Safety. http://www.windowslive.com/family_safety/overview.html?ocid=TXT_TAGLM_WL_Refresh\ _family_safety_052008
Guest guest
CC Hi I have been diagnosed since Feb. And my family, friends and my family doctor thought that I was a hypocondriac. It took my wrists and arms swelling up like balloons before I was sent to an RA. I am seronegative. She told me my blood work was not elevated, but she could tell by my pain, the areas I was swollen and mostly my xrays had all the signs. So hang in there, try and not get discouraged, and see about getting xrays. Wishing a pain free day to all.

I've been lurking quietly in the background reading everyones posts. I'm newly diagnosted with RA, and like so many here, it was a year or so of playing ring around the rosey with my doctors before they made a diagnosis. Now another three months wait to get in to see a Rheumy. I noticed every one here has a lot of pain. I'm in the same boat, but I also have Cirrhosis. My problem is no doctor will prescribe any meds for pain relieve. I've taken so much Ibuprofin over the last year and a half that I'm having allergic reactions within minutes of taking them. ( Severe Rashes ). , I can relate to your frustration! My question is, what can I do to get some pain relief? Any sugestions would be greatly appreciated. Take care and have a wonderful day!
