Guest guest
and Group; I am so sorry you don't have insurance. I am so upset with the USA conserning health coverage. We have a great country but that coverage erks me. Millions need health insuranse and can't afford it. If the USA provided health coverage there would be thousands that don't become disabled so soon or at all, so everyone has to sign up for disability because their illness only requires a doctor. The reason I know is I was very ill for a loong time with out health insuranse. I have RA, Osteo and fibro and other illness not connected. I believe I could have worked for a long time with out getting on disability. I am 54. So, now SSD has so many people signing up they dont know who to give it too. Some people get it in a couple months and others years, for no apparent health rhyme or reason. Its like a lottery. Get a lawyer cause the SSD dont know what they are doing. I am so sorry and so ashamed of my country for this reason. gentle hugs Cloraj > No actually i havent even seen a doctor sense last April.I have no > coverage. And the specialist said i cant afford them so i'm waiting for > ssi to go through which i hope is soon. > > >
Guest guest
Hi - I don't have any insurance either. My Rheumy gives me a hardship discount when I go to see him - it only costs $50 per visit. I also have a discount prescription card that I got through www.yourrxcard.com which has saved me a bunch of money. There are also specific programs with pharmaceutical companies for those who have a hard time paying for prescriptions. It saddens me to see someone who is having to suffer while waiting for SSI to kick in. Do you qualify for Medicaid? Or maybe the Medically Needy Share of Cost program? If your specialist flat out said that you " couldn't afford them " , I would be looking for a new specialist - these guys are obviously in it only for the money. Best of luck to you........Doreen > > No actually i havent even seen a doctor sense last April.I have no > coverage. And the specialist said i cant afford them so i'm waiting > for ssi to go through which i hope is soon. > > >
