Guest guest
Question, I had to do an emergancy visit with my RA, had a reaction to my meds, she breifly went over my foot xrays with me,told me she would get in more depth on my next visit in August, she advised I have bone spurs in both of my heels. I am not having problems with them at this point, but has anyone had these and what happens ? She told me, it was either caused by my RA or my neuropathy (which she referenced that with my IBS, thought that was interesting) which brings up one more question , anyone know about IBS and the correlation with neuropathy? Guest guest
I don't think there is any relationship. Bone spurs are due to wear and tear and inflammation. Wear New Balance sneakers. Guest guest
My heels at this point are not hurting but my insole (im assuming that is what it is referred to) hurts alot when I walk. It feels like something is pulling, does this have to do with the spurs ? Is there anything I can start doing now to prevent further pain ? I will be trying New Balance shoes as suggested. I am used to wearing Nikes. Any more advice will be greatly appreciated.

You might want to see a Podiatrist and have your feet checked out. I did, and was very happy with him. I have 2 seperate pairs of inserts for my shoes, a reg. one, and one I use when my feet are killing me. He also told me to buy running shoes which have more support all over. New Balance was one of the brands he suggested. I hope this helps, and I pray your feet will feel better soon. Hugs, Barbara
