Hi everyone, following in Tara's footsteps, I had a peri appt today-

at 28w 2d- all looks " great " as my peri says- the baby weighs 2lbs

14oz! which seems bigger than a few of my books say- (only by a few

oz)- they said the baby looks great- it is completely in the left

horn, head down- it was amazing that I could really see the right

horn, just there and vacant! the baby's legs were up by the head-it

looked uncomfortable to me, but I s'pose its comfy for him/her.

the peri said the cervix looks good (from vag ultrasound and manual

inspection (???))- I asked about a FFN and he said if he had any

concerns, he would give me one, but after seeing what he saw today-

he felt that it was not necessary-

I see my Ob in 2 weeks- he said he will call them and make sure they

check my cervix (they have not yet)- then I see him 2 weeks after

that- (I will be 32 w)-

I asked if he would be present for the birth- he said no- my OB

would, or one of the 5 Drs in her practice (I start rotating to meet

them in 2 weeks) I said " if everything is 'normal' and head down, I

could have a 'normal " vag delivery, and it won't matter that I am BU,

right??? " he said " exactly " -... so the way I see it- getting thru

the prg is the hard part- once I make it to term, or near- it will

be treated as a normal delivery- vag or c-sect depending on if baby

stays head down or not!

phew......sorry so long- but I know a few of you are trailing behind

me- and wanted to give you my perspective at 28 weeks- I feel

confident that the baby would survive if born now- and there are no

indications that it would be!(born now)

happy Tuesday to all......it is for me!!!! :)
