Guest guest
Hi!! I know the meds can sound scary, but the way I see it, I would rather take my chances with TB and Cancer (considering that most people are getting cancer now without being on these meds) and be able to live my life to the fullest while I still can. I would rather take my chances than not be able to enjoy life in terrible pain. That's just my opinion, though, everyone is different. So far, I've been on Enbrel and naprosyn for 7 years and so far I haven't had any problems (including stomach, which naprosyn can cause) and I still have perfect vision. Good luck!! Guest guest
I'm not sure how much you are into alternative medicine but I go to accupuncture and it reduces my swelling and helps with the pain.. Guest guest
Autumn, I think many of us share those same feelings, I know that I do. Guest guest
Leila's Mommie, CONGRATULATIONS on the new baby! What a blessig to have your family now. The disclaimers on the comercials are there to protect them from any and everything. Our moderator, , posted a report that showed about the same percentage of people developed Lymphoma with TNF Blockers as it would have been anyway. Try not to be afraid. My daughter was scared to death about me taking MTX. I finally convinced her that the RA was certain to destroy my body, but I did have a chance with the MTX. I only had a couple of minor issues that cleared right up with dosage changes. Sweetie, we do have a several members with infants, but not me, so I am no good with advice there. I hope that you have gotten an appointment with a new rheummy though. I wish that it would just go away for you, but you do need to see one. God Bless you too! Shirley > > Hello. Guest guest
I went to an acupuncturist yesterday for the first time. I went because my right shoulder has been bothering me though I'm not sure if it's the RA or not. It did diminish the pain though it is still there some. I have to go back next week. I was wondering if anyone else has any experience with acupuncture? Thanks, Re: [ ] scared of meds I'm not sure how much you are into alternative medicine but I go to accupuncture and it reduces my swelling and helps with the pain..
