,

Give it time. It takes 12 weeks to really see a difference with the

MTX, and a couple of months for the Enbrel. Staying on a low dose of

Prednisone will make it easier to get off, once those other two

medication start working. They will start working!

I and a lot of others on this list have been where you are right now.

We feel for you. I remember asking at week 8 of being on MTX (this

was before Enbrel), asking someone else who had RA when would the pain

stop. She said it was going to take at least 12 weeks, and surprise,

surprise, at about week 12 I started to feel better. Hang in there,

and write back with updates on how you are doing.

Thanks . Glad to hear there is hope. My husband wants me back at work

and I

just pray that I can make it. I work for an airline and don't even know if I'll

have a job or

insurance in the near future. Make hay while the sun shines I guess! Due to

work I can't

take Ultram or any narcotic. The pred keeps me moving, don't know what I'd do

without

it.

Thanks,
