Guest guest
> Hi! My son would get frequent hiccups until I started enzymes. He still gets them from time to time, but definitely not as frequently. It was interesting because he looked like he also had a stomach ache. The ped gi dr. said that he was possibly " refluxing " at the time. Do you think it's acid reflux connected? When I started the diet gfcf diet years ago, it worked great for about 6 months, then my son regressed again. It took me forever to figure out that he was intolerant to rice. That was in most everything I was substituting with. Hope this helps Missy > Hello- > > My son is in his 4th week of the GFCF diet. He takes a multivitamin > w/calcium, Candex and melatonin at night. Guest guest
Often around bedtime I get very bad hiccups. I tell me husband I am chirping at him since they squeak. Friday night the hiccups were bad for over half hour so go up and ate a spoonful of sugar. That helped them. Not sure why I keep getting hiccups in late evenings though. Do take a reflux med at night which I thought would help. Does anyone else have this type problem? Debbie L

Guest guest
so you don't think too much yeast can cause hiccups? Guest guest
I wasn't sure what caused them but after speaking with Dana, i realized that some of the supplements I was giving cause yeast also. So I increased the Candex and started Biotin and the hiccups literally went away. > From: Arias <thinkingheads@ sbcglobal. net> > Subject: [ ] Hiccups > > Date: Friday, December 5, 2008, 7:34 PM > > What other causes are there for hiccups other than yeast?
