Guest guest
Just looking for some info for a personal situation. My Father-in-Law has n0n-small cell lung cancer, stage 4 and my SIL is trying desperately to find some alternative treatments that can possibly be used along with his traditional treatment, which at this point is chemo. This is so not my area of expertise and I really know nothing about it. So, was looking to see if there was anyone out there who specializes in this area and can maybe point me in a few good directions for more info so I can help them out. Any info would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you, Kim Tessmer, RD LD
Guest guest
Anti-angiogenic drugs/foods and also there are for some types of cancers therapies with dendritic cell shots basically to stimulate your immune system to fight against cancer cells. Chemotherapy destroys cancer cells but also your immune cells. Oncology is not my field and primary care doctors very rarely refer me cancer patients to try any type of anti-angiogenic food as an therapeutically help. The best way to go it is to stimulate the immune system response.
