Guest guest
I know....I just loved my high heels...and now i can't even put my foot in one. It hurts so bad. even the birkies hurt my feet. I need padding..... That's why I don't wear dresses anymore and used to love the summer dresses....so pretty...because I can't wear them with my ugly shoes... I can't even wear the ballet flats, they hurt because there's no padding in them. But sure miss the pretty shoes. Now i get jealous when I see people getting up from the floor. Wish i could do that. lol Hugs..a ************** It's only a deal if it's where you want to go. Find your travel deal here. Guest guest
I think that dresses look good with flat sandals. I have some very comfortable sandals. Some are Rockport, and some are Earth sandals from WalMart. Sue On Thursday, August 28, 2008, at 05:44 PM, tdianaok wrote: > > I'm the same way. Guest guest
Have you tried any of the gel inserts that you can get at walmarts or the drug store. I found them helpful when my feet were really acting up awhile back. They made my " dress flats " much more comfortable. I will still wear low heels for short special occasions but always pay later. lb From: rascalsniche@... <rascalsniche@...> Subject: Re: [ ] Re:Sorry for posting, about MY problem Date: Thursday, August 28, 2008, 3:36 PM I know....I just loved my high heels...and now i can't even put my foot in one. Guest guest
Those Earth sandals are really comfortable, but you might have to wait till next spring before they have them again. Last year at the end of the summer, I bought a couple of pairs that just slip on when they were reduced way down. I wear them around the house. Guest guest
i have to agree with Sue on the Earth sandals, i couldn't wear any other shoes (flip flops, tennis shoes or other sandals) b/c of my toes. My husband actually found the Earth sandals at Walmart and they are comfortable and cute but the toes are open but there is a elastic strap on the back that holds the shoe on. Hope u find them comfy too. Paris Re: [ ] Re:Sorry for posting, about MY problem I think that dresses look good with flat sandals. I have some very comfortable sandals. Guest guest
I wear sandals all summer and dread when fall comes. Mainly, I wear Birkenstocks or Birkis (a bit less expensive.) There is truly nothing like them for foot comfort. I have a few pairs of their clogs too so can get away with them in cooler weather. A lot of people wear Birks all year with socks! If I have a special occasion to dress for, it's a nightmare. Besides the RA, I have neuropathy in one leg so can't wear any heel and I really miss my beautiful shoes :-( If you've never tried them...do yourself a favor and invest in a pair of Birkis. Not only are they comfortable, they will last forever! I buy mine from QVC, but they're sold in stores like Famous Footwear too. _____ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of tdianaok Sent: Thursday, August 28, 2008 8:21 PM Subject: [ ] Re:Sorry for posting, about MY problem Sue, Yes, dresses do look nice with sandals. It's really hard for me to wear sandals. I will check out Walmart next time. I've bought so many shoes, then I usually can't wear them.
