Guest guest
It's strictly about the politics of liberalism and right now the liberal focus is to influence women into thinking that Republicans are at war with women. (It's all they've got right now.) Democrats are losing the support of women, so they are trying to shore that support up. You know, Republicans want to " take away your birth control " , i.e. limit abortions, etc., when Republican politicians weren't even thinking about that topic. It just popped up in a question from Stephonopolus, moderator of one of the recent debates. " Do you think states have the right to ban contraception? " Romney said, " Huh? That's a silly question... " Notice how pregnancy is discussed as if it were a disease, rather than a normal health event, that every woman has the right to prevent and terminate, hopefully at someone else's expense. It's a mantra that was fabricated to make Republican candidates look like troglodytes who want women pregnant, barefoot and in the kitchen. It's like the movie " Wag the Dog " where the government and the media fabricated a war that did not exist. For that reason Rush referred to the current phony, trumped up " war on women " as " Wag the Pill " . He inappropriately called Fluke a " slut and a prostitute " for wanting someone else to pay for her and fellow students' " contraception " while in law school, claiming it costs them about $3000 for whatever period she claimed, I forget. The next day he rightly apologized profusely for calling her those names.) That's a lot of sex at the cost of the insurance companies to provide " protection " , who will then charge all the policy holders for it. Anyway, that's what got them upset about Rush, because he spoke so openly about it being a scam to create yet another entitlement based on an immoral premise. That's what the Rush thing is all about, if you haven't kept up with the news, and I wouldn't blame you if you did not! The " 99% " claim is from the " occupy " movement. They claimed 1% of the population controls the rest of us with their money. Well, I guess that was all politically incorrect? Bummer. Guest guest
Oh, sorry. It now see it was a phone call. I don't know how in the world to get off of those lists, since there's no live person. Would like to hear the answer myself. I guess there is always the " Don't call list. " Someone might have that number. You could Google it, though. I don't like the don't call subscription, because I might just want to hear from some of them. Guest guest
Seriously Dave? Hmmm, lucky wife, you don’t need it.. This is now over the top and a ridiculous discussion that is best left to itself, but since it’s made my day and my husband and I are laughing our old heads off, I just had to say this. And now for a deliciously icy Margarita, Dave. Both you and me babe…. It’s after 5 anyway.
