Good day

We had a very nice time at the library today. There is an

" exploration room " in the children's area. A large classroom for

group use, but when there is no group children can go in with a parent to

explore the educational toys there. Another girl was there with her mother so

of course Faith wanted to join in. They were tossing beanbags, sorting by color

into boxes. Faith joined in so Mom got to stop playing. The girls continued

with other imaginative play for about 45 minutes. They had a great time. As we were

leaving Faith picked up a book and gave it to the girl, reading the title to

her. She was surprised Faith could read and asked how old she was (she's 8). I

then asked what grade she was in and was also surprised...she is going into 5th

grade! I was amazed that an 11 year old typical child played so well for so

long with Faith! She was really not " playing down " to her, either.

They seemed matched in their play! It was fun!

I don't want to jinx things and yet

Today has been the first day I've felt pretty decent since I started the herbal

protocol nearly 3 months ago

I've had enough energy to make pesto from my garden

Go teasel harvesting for 1.5 hrs

And now - though I'm beginning to fade at 2:10 am

I'm pressing out my third batch of herbs

Not sure I'll last to get done the teasel root or eleuthero I started a month

ago

I'm holding all of you in my heart while making these medicines for myself
