Guest guest
Check out Vera Bradley quilted bags.... Lightweight and fun patterns! I hated the fact that I had to switch but I LOVE some of their patterns! *~ Kami ~* [ ] handbags? Hi all. I am trying to figure out how to carry all of my " stuff " around without causing myself more pain. I can't find a style of purse that doesn't hurt to put on, or wear, or carry around for a long time. Because I'm diabetic, I don't really have the option of not carrying a bag. Thanks for any suggestions! Leanne, who's really hurting and miserable today

Guest guest
Leanne and group; AWe me too, I feel so aweful. I hurt all over. I cut the lidoderm patch in half and put one on each of my shoulder ball. I got a shot for my hips and shoulders but they still hurt. I beleive its a steriod shot. For my hips and shoulders. I have bursitis. I have osteo, RA and fibro. It seems like its all attacking me to day. I am waiting for the humira injection to work. I pray everyone has a pain free day. I have prayed all morning. Sorry for complaining so much. I have to wait to take a pain pill cause i am afraid of over dosing. I got to find out if the pain patch is counted as a pill when wearing. gentle hugs Clora > > I am trying to figure out how to carry all of my " stuff " around > without causing myself more pain. Guest guest
There's a line on QVC called Lemon Hill that is similar to Vera Bradley and considerably less expensive. Another suggestion is to use a cross-body bag - not only relieves the weight, but also is more secure. There is a Lemon Hill cross body bag on qvc.com as well as others that might work for you. _____ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of ~ Kami ~ Sent: Sunday, September 07, 2008 12:51 PM Subject: Re: [ ] handbags? Guest guest
I purchased a messenger bag from an army surplus store. It crosses over one shoulder without causing pain. Guest guest
I don't know how Lemon Hill compares to Vera Bradley since I'm not a fan of either line. The good thing about QVC is that you can use it for 30 days and return it if you're not happy. They refund the price as well as the shipping charge. You just pay the return shipping. I am a very happy QVC shopper, but I also tend to buy more than I need!!! _____ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of ~ Kami ~ Sent: Sunday, September 07, 2008 9:49 PM Subject: Re: [ ] handbags? Dang! Guest guest
Me too! That is why I need to stay away from there! I hated Vera Bradley stuff until I was gifted a set..... Nice stuff and holds up well! I just started another collection. *~ Kami ~* RE: [ ] handbags? I don't know how Lemon Hill compares to Vera Bradley since I'm not a fan of either line. Guest guest
I got a messenger bag from Old Navy, it's Khaki coloured canvas. It's held up real well. I also made a little one that goes cross-body like a messenger bag, it's just big enough for wallet, phone, etc. > > From: marla <ghostlady@...> > Subject: Re: [ ] handbags? > > Date: Sunday, September 7, 2008, 1:51 PM > > > > > > > Sometimes I use a large fanny pack or a padded backpack. Guest guest
I got my bag from Reign Vermont. What I like is that the shoulder straps can be very long so I can carry it across my chest. The have a bunch of sizes and different fabrics you can choose. Probably a bit on the bohemium side though. http://www.reignvermont.com/ On Mon, Sep 8, 2008 at 1:25 PM, JANE <janeatregis@...> wrote: > I got a messenger bag from Old Navy, it's Khaki coloured canvas. Guest guest
Hi Leanna I found that regular handbags hurt my shoulders so I stearted to carry a backpack type of purse. I found one made our of some type material that looks like a quilt. I found that it distributes the weight more evenly and hurts less to carry.
